Ashley Glessing

Coach Ashley has a track record of developing athletes from the grassroots level to national success with her technical expertise and her nurturing communication style. She is a dedicated and passionate leader in the sport of diving in Calgary and regularly advocates for diving with the MNP Community & Sport Centre, as well as grassroots programs at local facilities. Ashley has coached Provincial and National champions, some of whom went on to compete internationally. She brings a wealth of hands-on experience and insight to athlete development, and as a former Dive Calgary athlete, Ashley remains deeply committed to its success, continuing to work closely with the younger age groups to instill strong fundamentals and a love for the sport.

Coach Ashley has had the privilege of working alongside some of Canada’s most respected coaches and mentors, such as Canadian legend Barb Bush and Igor Paskov, among many others. This learning experience developed her knowledge about different coaching philosophies and training methodologies to incorporate into her own coaching style that emphasizes technical excellence, mental resilience and a strong team culture.

General Manager Ashley has successfully revitalized Dive Calgary with increased registration and grassroots programs, a coaching staff that fosters a collaborative environment that prioritizes both athlete and coach development, a balanced budget as well as open communication with diving families and the Dive Calgary Board of Directors.
