The Colombian National Diving Team has joined Dive Calgary this season to take advantage of our first rate facility and training environment. They are here to train for the World Cup in February where they plan to qualify Olympic spots for Colombia.

Training them is Oscar Urrea, Colombian head coach. The divers are: Diana Pineda, finalist on 3m and 10m at the Pan Am Games in Rio 2007. Victor Ortega, finalist on 3m and 10m and Bronze medallist in 10m Synchro at the Pan Am Games in Rio 2007. Juan Guillermo Uran, Olympic finalist in 2004 on 10m and bronze medallist in the 10m Synchro event at the Pan Am Games in Rio 2007.

So far they are adapting well to the winter. Must be our warm hospitality!
