Alberta Section is calling for written bids from Alberta Section registered clubs who are interested in hosting the 2004 Winter Senior National Championships which are scheduled to be held on the rotational calendar in Alberta. The dates of these championships are to be confirmed. As the major pool venues in Calgary and Edmonton are requiring the booking of events at least one to two years in advance, the Alberta Section Executive felt it necessary to send out this notice now. The written bid should include information that will be useful in evaluating competing bids. Consideration is to be given to the same criteria for hosting a National Championship as is used by Diving Canada when evalutating competing bids for events. Please submit bids to Alberta Section CADA c/o Susan Bulmer by November 1, 2002. The successful bid will be annouced during the Executive Meeting/AGM/Planning Session weekend in Red Deer, November 30 and December 1, 2002.
